EBRIC's Vision: Redefining Asset Ownership and Driving Mass Adoption in the Web 3.0 Era

In a captivating interview with Cybernetic Money Magazine, Shijie Ng, the visionary Founder/Co-founder of EBRIC, reveals his remarkable odyssey from a young prodigy with a diverse background in consulting and special projects to a trailblazer in the realm of blockchain technology. Engagingly, Shijie delves into the transformative moments and encounters that ignited his passion for blockchain's boundless potential, ultimately propelling him to launch the groundbreaking venture, EBRIC.

Jean (Host): Good morning, Shijie. Thank you for being here today to share your journey and insights with us. How does EBRIC contribute to redefining asset ownership and making real-world values accessible for everyone? Who will be your ideal target customer group?

Shijie (Guest): Good morning, Jean. Thank you for having me here. At EBRIC, we believe in redefining asset ownership through the power of blockchain technology. Our platform aims to make assets more accessible to a wider audience, breaking them down into micro assets that can be tokenized and traded. Our vision is to create a digital ecosystem that enables fractional ownership of various assets, from properties to luxury watches and beyond.

In terms of making this accessible, we have plans to host educational seminars, workshops, and training sessions. We want to create a welcoming and open community where developers, stakeholders, and users can come together to learn about the potential of blockchain and how it can revolutionize asset ownership. By working closely with our stakeholders and forming strategic partnerships, we aim to make EBRIC a platform that empowers real-world asset owners and investors to benefit from the power of blockchain.

Jean (Host): It's inspiring to see how EBRIC is driving adoption and making blockchain technology more accessible. Could you tell us about some of the challenges and obstacles EBRIC has faced in its journey, and how you have overcome them?

Shijie (Guest): Certainly, Jean. Like any startup, we faced challenges in building our team and managing resources effectively. Raising funds to support our vision was also a significant challenge. However, we tackled these obstacles by demonstrating the potential of our platform to our investors and stakeholders. We focused on building strong partnerships and creating a welcoming ecosystem that incentivizes participation from all stakeholders.

Adoption and awareness have been key challenges as well. Blockchain technology is still relatively new, and we needed to educate our target audience about its potential benefits. Through workshops, educational initiatives, and close collaborations with stakeholders, we have been gradually overcoming these challenges and gaining momentum in the adoption of our platform.

Jean (Host): It's remarkable how you have overcome these challenges and continued to grow. Looking ahead, what are your future plans and aspirations for EBRIC? How do you envision the company evolving in the coming years?

Shijie (Guest): Our future plans for EBRIC revolve around increased participation and adoption in the blockchain space. We want to expand the types of assets that can be tokenized and traded on our platform, not just in real estate but also in other industries such as entertainment, art, and more. Our goal is to create an ecosystem where users can participate in fractional ownership of a wide range of digital and real-world assets.

In the coming years, we see EBRIC evolving into a major player in the Web3 era. By building strong collaborations with various stakeholders, developers, and industry partners, we aim to create an ecosystem that makes asset ownership more user-friendly and accessible for everyone. Our vision is to become a key player in driving mass adoption of blockchain technology, empowering individuals to benefit from the digital revolution.

Jean (Host): That sounds incredibly exciting, Shijie. EBRIC's journey is truly one to watch. Thank you for sharing your insights with us today and best of luck with your future endeavors!

Shijie (Guest): Thank you, Jean. It was a pleasure being here and sharing our vision for EBRIC. We are excited about the future and the possibilities that blockchain technology holds. Together, we can redefine asset ownership and create a more inclusive and interconnected digital ecosystem. The future looks bright, and we are committed to making it a reality. Thank you again for having me!

SPECIAL SEGMENT

Guest: Jevon Cheng, Head of Marketing at EBRIC

During the interview, Jean asked Jevon about the new app "Threads" introduced by Meta (formerly known as Facebook). Jevon shared his perspective on why the app has the potential for mass adoption among users.

According to Jevon, Twitter has been the go-to platform for people to express their thoughts and feelings for a long time. However, recent developments and takeovers within Twitter have led users to seek alternative ways to share their thoughts. "Threads" came into the scene at the right time, as people were looking for new avenues of expression.

One of the key factors that contributed to the app's potential for mass adoption was its ease of use and conversion of existing users. The app offers a minimalist interface where users can simply write and share their thoughts. Moreover, "Threads" capitalized on the existing user base of Instagram, known for its visual content, by introducing a new way for users to interact and share their thoughts beyond just posting images.
Jevon highlighted the personalized nature of "Threads" as another appealing aspect. The app curates content based on users' interests and provides a unique and personalized experience. This, in turn, encourages users to explore and engage with the platform regularly.

Drawing parallels with the growth of the blockchain community, Jevon emphasized that new trends and technologies often start with a small group of enthusiasts and then gain momentum as more people adopt and embrace them. He believes that "Threads" has the potential to undergo a similar growth trajectory, much like how the blockchain community expanded with the introduction of Discord channels for Web3 projects and blockchain discussions.
